They use 2/3 of the ballroom for the ceremony, cocktail hour is in the private 5th floor lobby, and then the entire ballroom becomes the reception space. The girls got ready in the suite before the wedding and there was plenty of room to do makeup and hair! I would recommend having your wedding at Greektown Casino-Hotel just to stay in the honeymoon suite! The hotel (public) lobby is also beautiful for taking pictures as is the Greektown streetscape! The wedding spaces are on the 5th floor. I also think that the double bathroom is a great idea. The shower and bathtub were extremely deluxe. Our suite on the 21st floor had stunning views. We got GREAT feedback from all of our guests who stayed at the hotel. We had 40 rooms booked for the night of our wedding. All guests of the wedding received complimentary valet service. We had 205 guests at our wedding, Emily said the venue would hold up to 250 guest… we thought 205 was a little tight during cocktail hour and I think under 200 would be a good number. Hoose the Greektown Casino-Hotel for a few reason (1) attached hotel, (2) downtown Detroit, & (3) they used the word Vegan on their menu.
